Temporary Spring

Pants? Joe Fresh  (similar here or hereBoots? Joe Fresh (old) Silk shirt? Thrifted Necklace? Thrifted Biker jacket? Costa Blanca

Earlier this week, Matt and I flew down to Florida to pick up a work vehicle. We're road tripping it back up to Canada on a slightly relaxed schedule.
We spent the first night in Savannah. We were a little exhausted from flying through the night and then driving straight to Georgia (truth time; Matt drove, I slept, read and did a bit of whining) but we both fell in love with Savannah the second we arrived. It is the sweetest! Everywhere you looked it was so picturesque! I also appreciated the blackened tuna quesadilla I had for dinner, the margarita I got to take in a to-go cup (!) to enjoy along the water front and the magnolias that were blooming, just in time to match my pants.
I'm excited to get to NYC and see some friends but as we were leaving Savannah, it felt a little like I was leaving spring behind to regress back to winter. Good bye flowers, warm breezes and patios, we'll see you in a few months...

Savannah is my favorite city! I love how laid back and welcoming it is, and I always have way too much fun taking advantage of their to-go drinks. This is the perfect outfit for Georgia.

I want a little bit of sping too. Here in Montreal, it's been FREEZING for weeks.
Glad you enjoyed that little road trip.

Do you happen to remember the very short lived series on CW several years ago called Savannah? I was obsessed with it in high school and always wanted to visit the city ever since I saw it. It just looked so lovely from my tv screen. I looooove your necklace and trousers. I cannot WAIT until spring comes to stay!

Not a fashion comment, have you been watching the news? There is a blizzard warning for NYC, Friday and Saturday.....I know they are saying 2 feet of snow in Boston.

Savannah is my favorite city and I am so jealous you were just there. We have been 3 times now and it is so different from where I am from, michigan, and I feel the same way every time we leave...back to the cold dreary blah....I love your blog and your style. Keep up the good work!

Oh I love Savannah! My husband grew up there so we try to visit when we can. Love the waterfront with the cobblestone streets, so Southern :)

AHHHH! You are the only person I know who can go from cold to spring to snow in a span of days and still look amazing as always.

I'm glad you and Matt made it back to CA safe and sound. And you got to see Kendi!

Ha, I was wondering where in Ontario you could possibly be that you wouldn't risk frostbite in that outfit ;) I'd love to go to Savannah, it looks like such a pretty town from what I've seen. Love the outfit :)
