Dress? Keepsake (here, only xs left and similar on sale here) Clutch? Vintage, Shop Elofson (cute similar here)
I wore this out to celebrate our 8th anniversary. We just went out for drinks and some appetizers but I over dressed because Matt would be shocked if I didn't.
I'm digging the contrast of the white lace versus the black tassels. I found the lace dress at UO without a tag and they gave it to me for $30, which I thought was a good deal because I could tell that the lace was quality. Looked the dress up online afterwards and it turns out that indeed, I did get a deal....
And the matchy matchy earrings and clutch? I brought the earrings to put into the shop on the same day that the clutch from Shop Elofson arrived in the mail. And they were just so perfect together that I did not want to separate what the postman had brought together...
Shop Elofson is actually run by a gal that reached out when I started my own shop because she was opening her vintage shop at the same time. Honestly, from the beginning, it has thoroughly creeped me out how similar we are with our businesses and our vintage. I just did a quick scan of her Etsy and we have quite a few exact items in the shop, including this purse that is hanging in the shop and this one's sister that is hanging in my closet. It's nice to connect with people who are on a similar journey... They are the ones who understand how often I have to explain the difference bwteen a vintage store and not a thrift store...;)
