Coat? Thrifted Blazer? Talbots, Thrifted Silk tee? Thrifted Pants? Maison Scotch, bought in Holland (similar here in khaki) Shoes? Ralph Lauren, DSW (here) Cuff? Goodwill Auction
When I was in Holland, my sister-in-law folded my laundry for me (thank-you ma'am) and she took that opportunity to try on a pair of my pants. I came home and she tried them on again, just to show me how nice they looked on her. I reckoned I might as well try on her pants while we were at it, and that is the exciting story of how we ended up skipping arm in arm into town and buying ourselves new pants. I bought these pants (now I must thank the winter sales), the exact ones that I was borrowing from her and she bought my exact pants that she was borrowing from me. And you thought only 13 year olds acted like this...
I know these pants have a slightly dropped crotch and the argument can be made that they are unflattering, perhaps even malerepellant (that's trademarked... please link back if you use that expression) but they are so comfortable. And I kinda love how unexpected they look with the heels and the red blazer. Though, I'm starting to think that a red blazer looks good with anything...

As much as I am a staunch un-supporter of pants with any dropcrotch effect, I am actually really liking these.
Also loving - that insanely great red blazer.
Dear Friend;
Last year I got you an awesome home warming/ birthday present. In return I received nothing. I was willing to overlook that, but hot damn bitch, you have some great thrifted finds and due to this I must put my foot down and exclaim "find me a thrifted blazer". I know what you are thinking, "Linda how could I possibly know your size? Our bodies are soo different. For I, a lean Dutch tall blonde, and you a shorter stauter italian." Well, that shall be the challenge shouldnt it? Oh ya, and I want it RED too! I found one on sale at Zara for a meager 25 dollars and left it behind, convincing myself I would never wear it, it was long and boxy and super perfect, and I left it behind. I regret that moment monthly....
DIGRESS, I love your blazer!
I don't think I've EVER liked a pair of drop-crotch pants before but those ones are cool! They look awesome on you!
Like what's going on in the outfit, but love the new layout/design! :D
oooooo...i'm just seeing the updates to your blog - love! i think drop crotch looks bad ass on you. but only on you.
Im not a fan of dropped crotch pants but after seeing them on you ive changed my mind.
Great outfit! Red looks so stunning on you! XOXO, www.NatalyasCloset.com

I like the pants and I also love the shoes.
I love the blazer - it's so 1986. :)
Great new look to the blog, Jentine!
I love, love, love those malerepellant pants. (lol at the trademark.) But seriously, a slightly dropped crotch is oh-so-chic when styled properly. Those males don't know what they're talking about.
Oh, I have been looking for a red blazer at the thrift store for oh so long. the perfect one always seems to elude me. *sigh* One day, after I've stopped looking no doubt, there it will be.
...and the cuff is amazing!
love the new blog layout!

Oh you look fabulous in those pants!! Your super model stature might have something to do with it though:)
i think those pants are awesome and look great on you. i also think someone beat you to the bunch as far as trademarking:

Your trademarked comment made me giggle ... I just noticed that in her blog the other day about arm party. Thank you for the laugh first thing in the morning!

I am with others...I love the new look of the blog and I really love your bracelet...that is to me the most fun, unexpected element of the outfit. I'm probably biased because I love chunky bracelets and try to wear them as much as possible!:)
I love harem pants and pants with dropped crotches. Honestly, given my wide-hip situation, I think they are much more flattering on me. And you're right, comfortable!! And the fit of that jacket on you is beyond! It looks like it was custom made for you.
I like "repellamalent" better than malerepellant...but anyways, would it bother you if I said they remind me of how Spencer wears his pants?
you are such a talented thrifter, no joke! I love your blog and style! amazing blazer in this post
