But beware. This is where the warm fuzzies in this post break down. Because I kept the dress and then, I took back the clutch. I am sure my original intention was to simply borrow the clutch but it's been about 3 years since I 'borrowed' it, and we need to call it as it is. I stole from my own mother. And I would do it again. This clutch is totally worth it.

Well the dress is gorgeous, and the clutch is amazing, even if you took it back. :)
One of my fave outfits ever!! :) Those earrings are amazeballs. I'm sorry I just said that word, but they are. :) It's the perfect winter-to-spring transition outfit and I lurve it mucho!
I would steal that clutch back too! Also, I would steal your shoes, and wear them with everything.
I want all of it!! The dress is great, and the khaki jacket just makes it perfect.
me wantee the shoes too!
i'd have never given that clutch to my mom in the first place. you are a better woman than i am.
I have a few of those tooled leather purses from thrift stores! My mom and aunt both keep their eyes peeled for them for me...no stealing required ;)
I think you should save up a little money (maybe sell that awesome dress and clutch) and buy some nice drywall so you can have walls in your house...no?
I laughed my fanny off (as per usual with your posts) at this one. My mom and I do the EXACT same thing. Love this! And I totally bought the cutest wallet for my cousin two Christmases ago, but she couldn't come . . . it's been holding my credit cards and the like for two years now. Woops. I love this dress and clutch so much. Totally worth it. Plus, you know your mom would want it this way anyhow.
LOVE your blog and fab style....I hope you come follow us back. We are your newest followers. :-) XXX Emily of EL Vintage

I would love to see the full length of the dress. And what kind of sleeves it might have.
That clutch is awesome. I want one now :)

Cute clutch.
You look great. Loved your clutch & shoes!
That is not a safe location for outfit pictures. Some poor shoe bough that house , will see you in it and be like "sweet! It comes with a hot chick. Then you will be forced to be his maid, which lets face it, you're not the happiest cleaner. But on the upside it ends up he needs landscaping so he makes you do it, then u do a great job and the neighbors see. So they all start paying you to do their gardens, and with your new found self esteem, you clock the sucker, take all your money and run back home to Matt, where in your absence has oddly enough adopted another cat, taking your cat count to....I can't count that high. He has a scraggly beard and his dimples are less deep for he has been so long without a smile from not seeing you. His eyes that once had that charming blue glow are now dull, except for a fine little spark at the mere sight of you. Anyway he cleans up, you are rich and u have a new cat, one of those expensive pretty ones that look like a cougar and u live heavily ever after.
What was I saying? Oh! I like your bun! And ur dress is sassy.
Happily ever after....auto correct
It's a very lovely bag...I'm sure your mom didn't mind (well, too much anyway!)
Technically, you are not a "theif" but an "indian giver." Indian givers still aren't awesome, but its better than being a theif......you indian giver you. =)
WONDERFUL Post.thanks for share..
Love the layering of your outfit, well done!

SHOUT-OUT to you
I love the crochet dress!
I actually have a purse that I "borrowed" from my mom years ago that I have no intention of giving back anytime soon. She never uses it!
This outfit is amazing. Unbelievably amazing. That is all.
This is such an interesting, unusual outfit. You have a wonderfully unique creative touch with putting together outfits!! I always learn things and get nifty ideas. You do stuff I never would, and I am always exclaiming "I never woulda thought of that! I love it!" when I look at your posts.
