Jacket? Zara Jeans, shirt and sparkly cardi? Gap Boots? Winners Belt and Purse? Thrifted
I am giving away all the wardrobe tricks I intend to employ this winter to keep things interesting in this one post.
Lots of layers.
Comfy brown boots.
Whoa, is your purse fuzzy?
Interesting coloured denim.
And then, of course, some sparkle.

This weekend the temperature dipped and we got a tiny taste of what we have to look forward to this winter. It was so chilly Matt even let me turn on the heat... how kind. I think we (as a collective blogging community?) should award every blogger that endures a cold winter and continues fashion blogging with an extra 2 points. Or should we get minus 2 points? For wasting time taking outfit pictures in the cold, when we could be cuddling by fire and reading trashy novels? It's a debate worth having, on the one hand, fireplaces and trashy novels are great but, pretty layers and sequins are worth taking the time to document too...

Whoa this question made me go all cross-eyed like "if I tree falls in the forest"... I always wonder how the swedish girls do it. Furry purse ftw.
i always love your use of sequins. and i can only dream of cuddling by a cozy fire this winter. guess i'll be blogging instead.
That sparkly gap sweater is amazing!!!!
Love the layering!! I am a huge boot fan too!!

I will accept a bottle of wine for my troubles, thanks. I like to relax with a glass and forget how many times I fell on the ice in front of strangers that day. Because once winter hits slipping on the snow/ice is a shameful daily occurrence.
i love this look a lot!

I love boots! like how you've muted the sparkly sweater.
Here here! I haven't had my opportunity to blog in the winter yet (my blog is still a baby). I am anxious to see if I can tough it out. I love all your layers and the hint of sequin goodness.
haha! It was FREEZING here in Waterloo this weekend! I hear ya! I vote for extra 2 points, I'm going to tough it out this winter and I could use all the inspiration I can find! love the sparkly cardigan
Love the brown boots, I really need to get myself a pair, they always look great!
I love your layering! Why hadn't I thought to layer that Cardi like that...I'm totally taking notes from you :)

Cute sparkles, they can brighten up a cold winter day! I have to get out in the cold in the winter anyway, to throw snowballs with the little ones, so I use those moments to snap some quick pictures. Not sure they'll always be stylish though *grin*
I am not ready for the cold weather! I will def be dressing in lots of layers too.
the weather was so craptacular, i barely got dressed. And forget even trying to document my half-ass attempt at clothing. I stayed in, played angry birds and napped. yup, that was about it.
Hi,
I found your blog from Sydney at Daybook - I LOVE THRIFTING and I am SO INSPIRED by your outfit posts that feature things we all can afford! (And I normally HATE "OOTD" posts) ... I am going thrifting right after I finish my coffee! :)
EXTRA points, ALWAYS extra points for winter! If I have to endure it, I better get some extra points out of the deal.
Also, this outfit is, like, quintessential Jentina style. Sequins, fur, lovely layers. Rad.
Layers, boots and sweater tights. Gearing up for another LONG winter! :)
i'd say bonus points! love the layers here, all so different yet perfect!

It got really cold here this weekend too. My stoves have been running non-stop. Shew, I kind of dread seeing winter come.
You look so adorable. I love sequins & that fuzzy purse is too precious :)
That bag is unbelievable.

I'll take points please! London is gonna get coooold and then when I go home to Scotland for Christmas it'll be insanely chilly.
Your bag is amazing! I just want to snuggle up with it.

I'd say plus 2 points, because if cold-weather bloggers like you hibernated through the winter, they'd be missed! ;)
I want me a sparkly cardi...wanna trade ? :-)
Confessions of a Purse-a-holic
I started to have a panic attack when I read the title of this post...I don't want to think about reality right now! And yes, those of us in cooler temps should get bonus points...at least 2!
Great outfit. Love the sequined cardi! I neeeed one.

2 points for me then! i love winter precisely because i can blame the weather for my use of layers. when in reality i DO want to pair this with that and top it with a cardi, a scarf, earmuffs, a blazer AND a parka.
This Outfit is simply superb, Just Loved it. Especially this fabulous sweater rocks big time! You Look Awesome in this lovely outfit!!
LOVE the sparkly cardi! :-)
