Jacket? Vintage, thrifted Jeans? super old Citizens of Humanity Shirt? Winners Boots? Charles David, thrifted Beret? Joe Fresh The cat Stella? The streets
The saddest thing about this jacket is that it's slowly falling apart. I tried to put my phone in my pocket and it dropped to the ground because there isn't lot of pocket left. It seems that lately I am on a mission to break my phone... I also dropped it off my parents' roof 1.5 times last weekend as I was trying to help re-shingle the roof. It's really not fair, I think I want to break my phone so I can justify an upgrade (spoiled?) and it just isn't happening. And my beautiful jacket? I want to keep it forever but it's breaking down. I'm just going to have to appreciate every beautiful memory I have a chance to make with my leopard swing jacket. I should make a scrapbook...

Could I buy it from you when it fully falls apart?? :) Seriously! chix0rgirl at gmail. With a zero.
Perhaps you can have the lining replaced in the jacket? Would it be worth it? It's such a pretty coat.
The lining is wrecked but so is the actual fabric... It's full of holes...
This jacket is amazing in every way and you should love it until it's final thread. In fact, tomorrow is animal print challenge at Pretty Shiny Sparkly for Bloggers Do It Better. You should totally join! Love this Jentine!
Regardless of the state of your jacket its gorgeous and your boots are fabulous!
Your thrift finds are incredible!!! I love it!

:)
What a cute outfit -- love the jacket's shape and print and the hat is the perfect accessory.
I think we deserve to see more of your home. Every time you tease us with a snippet it leaves us wanting more.
And yes, I just took it upon myself to be the spokeswoman of all your followers.
You just labeled your cat - I think I officially have a crush on you...
Wow! Cannot believe someone donated that jacket. Delicious!
i am loving this outfit on you!
Perfect to say the least! I can imagine a thousand ways to wear it, love the edgy look here!

This coat unconsciously inspired me to buy the faux fur jacket I got at Round Top! I remembered it from your October 3rd 2010 post (please, I'm not that creepy, I just had pinned the picture to Pinterest. Unless that counts as creepy...)
Anyway, it's very cute! Thanks for the inspiration!

so I guess asking to climb inside the jacket with you is out of the question...it just looks so cozy and chic at the same time in there!
Aw, so sad. Its the perfect coat!
a) the fact that you were helping to re-shingle the roof is so utterly badass. Hero!
b) i love how your boots look in grey. i wish you had a pair in grey.
c) could you just glue/stitchwitch the fabric to a structural support system and then replace the lining? ehh? perfect coat forever?
That jacket is GORGEOUS!
Ugh, I hate that. The garments we adore get loved so hard that they fall to pieces! Hope the jacket can be salvaged somehow.
That's too bad about the coat! I have a navy wool one I wear all the time in the winter and the lining is just shredded and the pockets are totally gone - but it's so perfect! Tragic.
I agree w/previous post... Chick re-shingling a roof is HOT!! (especially if it's July). Love the jacket and the decor of your foyer :-) Are those antique saws on your wall?? If so, that's even more badass!!!
Giiiirrrrrllllll .... That first photo is ridiculous! I kind of want to print it out and hang it up... That wouldn't be weird, right?
You may be hell on phones, but you're exquisitely easy on the eyes in these photos with your awesome-but-deteriorating jacket.
Ha! I had the same response as Kyla when I saw these pictures: my brain could only muster, "Girrrrrl, you fly!" I feel like you should be going to the opera in this outfit (especially since, in the first picture I initially thought you were wearing long gloves). But maybe an opera with lots of electric guitar and rock and roll thrown in.
