Golf Green

flare collage2flare6flare7flare3flare1

Pants? 7 for all Mankind, thrifted and hemmed Sweater? Gap Flower? h&m Belt and clutch? Thrifted Shoes? Jeffrey Campbell, Style Sense Earrings? F21

I can't help but smile when I see these pictures. The sun shone for a moment, my outfit was happy and bright and we did some major trespassing to take pictures on the golf course. Success all around.

These pants make me happy too. If they manage to avoid ketchup and Diet Coke stains, then they are bound to be my go-to pants this summer. When I found the pants they were already too short, so I hemmed them up a bit higher to exaggerate the cropped and flared length. I gotta thank B. Jones for this new found love for awkwardly cropped pants... before her, pants like this just reminded me of Grade 7 and of growing too tall, too fast and not being about to afford new pants. Now these pants are going to remind me the spring of 2011... the spring that came so late and so slowly. That was the spring we learned to appreciate the late golf season, as it made trespassing remarkably simple.

You look annoyingly pretty in these photos. It's not right.

These pants are fantastic, and I would have bet they were meant to be cropped in the first place. I used to have a pair of white cropped pants very similar to this about 6 years ago, from the Gap, and I felt so hot in them. Until I gained 10 pounds and had to give them away. I'm hoping that maybe this year will be the year of the white pants for me again...you give me renewed hope.

Do you remember having growing pains? I shot up (not drugs, in height) 3" in a year and I could literally feel my bones stretching. It was the most painful think I've ever experienced.

On a less grotesque note, those shoes freakin' rock.

omg i love it. I have def had my share of the awkwardly short pants in middle school. ha! these look fab on you, tho. I am so terrified of white pants, i am so jeals of anyone who is brave enough to wear them. mine always end up with some sort of bizarre mystery stain. rock it girl!

I only made it to 5'6'' but I do remember a huge growth spurt the summer before 7th grade. Before that, I was literally the class dwarf, always picked last in gym. I must've grown 3-4 inches that summer because my gym teacher moved me to the "above average" group of girls who played b-ball! I thought I was all that and a bag of chips.

Love the lime with the white and you match the golf course (with its patches of snow) perfectly.

I LOVE your shoes! I was surprised to see they were Jeffrey Campbell (I don't always count myself a fan of his shoes) but these definitely fall into his 10% of really awesome shoes - so gorgeous! And lovelovelove this lime green on you, too! So fresh! You look so pretty!

I'm on the search for white pants for spring! These are lovely on you.

You look absolutely gorgeous in that vibrant shade of green! I fear the white pant due to my ability to throw red wine and coffee on myself, but this pair looks amazing on you! May they stay stain-free!

Love those cropped pants and the bright top. So fresh and springy! I hear you on the stains. I'm like a child when it comes to white clothing. :)

this is so springy--chartreuse and white jeans--hallelujah that the snow season is over.
i'm similarly afraid/admiring of white pants. i'm so clumsy i'm pretty sure they'd have a short life in my house.

Those shoes are amazing, need those!!!When i first saw that clutch, I just had to put it on my thrift list, just foudn one two weeks ago!

Those pants remind me of the way pants from a normal store look on me. I am 1,91m (6'2'') and don't find pants long enough in stores. Need to specially order them!

I grew 8" in one year when I was in junior high. But I didn't mind because it just meant that I could date older men. And by older men I mean 30 year olds. They were the only guys who didn't mind the high waters.

Um. You're stunning. The second photo? My absolute fave. Possibly ever (and that's a big deal... but not in a stalker-creepy-kinda way... I hope?).

WEll done on the pants hem (but then again, that's nothin' for the queen seamstress J).

Hmm those pants look mighty familiar... were they your Austin find?!! I love the ankle length, and well when you're tall and gorgeous pants of any length seem to work with your figure :) xo

You have a great figure....
i.e butt! No weirdness just saying:-) those pants are verrrrrry cute!

Nicely done on the pants! High five if you didn't get anything on them all day. I know i would. Due to my clumsiness, white pants are my enemy!

LOVE the green on you!

Love the white jeans, I want to wear mine to school on a jeans day but working with elementary schol kids that's just asking for trouble!

Walking on the wild side. Next you'll be breaking into elementary school playgrounds. You are proof that cropped pants can look fabulous. Plus your clutch is awesome.
