Upgraded Track Pants

easy2easy1easy4easy3

Pants? h&m Sweatshirt? Joe Fresh Necklace? Joe Fresh Shoes? Kate Spade, thrifted Clutch? Thrifted

Once the weather gets colder, I settle into a week day, after-work routine. I get home from work, kiss my cats, check my inbox to see if I'm cool yet, take a hot shower to regain circulation and then settle in for the night with my yellow track pants and fuzzy blanket. Yes, the same yellow track pants and fuzzy blanket I have been rocking for years. I'm such a little remixer.

This week I replaced my old after-work favourites with my comfy apricot pants and new sweatshirt. Only because it's not too cold yet... once the temperature drops even more and Matt starts guarding the thermostat again, the blanket and trackies are back. But for now, I can be appropriately dressed when the guy canvassing the neighbourhood for the NDP knocks on the door. And if Matt asks me if I want to go out for dinner, I can add a little sparkle and I'm ready to go... in 5 minutes. That's a record.

I really like my apricot pants... almost as much as I love those yellow trackpants.

I love the bling to make your comfy outfit dressy. And those pants are an amazing color.

Your after-work outfit is sooo much more classy than mine! I go straight for the track pants and I don't care WHO comes canvassing - NDP, Liberal, Tory, my neighbours - they all know they do it, too! heehee ;)

Just wanted to let you know you've made a difference in my life. I've been sick all week, and my idea of a successful day has been making it to work and back home again. (By the way, I usually have at least slightly higher standards for my idea of success :o).)This has allowed me to spend a lot of quality time on my couch with my iPad. I came across your blog through a link from Kendi's, and it's been keeping me entertained...I think I've read at least a year's worth of your posts. (Hopefully, I'll be a little more productive next week...) I've always enjoyed fashion and shopping...a little too much. Unfortunately, due to trying to be a mature adult and trying to follow a budget, my closet has suffered over the past few years. Your thrifting finds have inspired a few Goodwill trips already, and I'm on my way to becoming a much more fashionable chick. Thanks for the inspiration!

Alicia- You win comment of the week. Get better but don't get so productive that you don't come back again to waste time...

Jentine, this is the best five minute outfit ever. That second pic of you is GORGEOUS. I love your apricot pants as well. It brings all the boys to the yard.
