Jeans? Joe Fresh Sweater? Thrifted Bag? Roots Shoes? Ralph Lauren, DSW Bracelets? Thrifted

And then it happened. I wore gold jeans. And I felt a little rockstar and a little ridiculous at the same time.
Yet, oddly enough, I think these gold jeans are going to become somewhat of a staple for me. When you live in Canada and you have to endure that thing that sticks around for way too long, you know, that thing called winter, you do what you can to keep some variety in your wardrobe. I've had sparkle goodness jeans before, a copper pair from an h&m sale rack (worn here... a long time ago) but I had to do the elastic through the button hole to make them not pinch. At some point I realized that pregnancy wardrobe tricks should be reserved for pregnancies and those copper jeans went in the donation pile. Thankfully, the gold jeans not only button up, they are even comfortable.
Oh yes... and a note about why I've been wearing my glasses lately. You see, I woke up one morning to find my last pair of contacts dried out in the sink... It must have been quite a party the night before. Once again, I felt a little rockstar and a little ridiculous.

I love them! Where can I buy them? The website doesn't seem to have a purchase option...

Holy popstar! I feel like I should start calling you Jentine Spice...or something.

You can pull those off though! Adore the shoes.

Amazing! I absolutely must go buy those jeans! I saw the gold Zara ones online somewhere, and was thinking of using some spray paint and an old pair of jeans to make my own...but I'm thinking it might be a bit safer to just go out and buy these!

At first I thought you had a bad-ass truck to go with your bad-ass jeans but upon further examination it appears to be a school bus. Anyways, I think you off the pants really well with the slim cut, sweater and stilettos.

So . . . I totally want your autograph, rockstar. I have seen metallic jeans all up and through the blogosphere. Usually they are from Zara, which is far too pricey for a schlub like me. These are actually affordable and adorable. Check please! I love them paired with the sweater.

C3PO Barbie. This is what came to my mind when your photos loaded. I'm pretty sure this is what supermodels will be wearing in the future.

I'm obsessed with your pants now and I need them for myself! That's one thing that I love about Canada: Joe Fresh. Shopping for clothes and accessories at the grocery store is just the most wonderful concept!

Haha, I love your description of part rockstar part ridiculous.

I'm interested to see how else you style these. If you have a black, band Tshirt - can you please rock them with a black, band Tshirt?

I've been lurking around, following your fab outfits for a while and I had to delurk to comment today. I saw those gold jeans at Superstore this week and my size 16 self did lust after them, while simultaneously wondering who the heck would look good in them (and not like a tucked up sausage)....well, I have my answer. You look fabulous in them. Wear them all winter....you absolutely should.

Perhaps you should get your "rockstar" on at a kareoke bar in those jeans. Though, when I do that I always accessorize with drinks. Just sayin!

Whoa, when you tweeted that you'd found gold jeans, you weren't kidding. They look great...and would be so fantastic with olive green!
