A pair of pleat front pants have been on my must-have list for a while now. I've just refused to pay a lot of money for them new because, as any good thrifter knows, today's 'on trend, men's wear inspired, pleat front pants' are just the rebirth of early 90's mom pants. It still took me a while to thrift these though. While there were lots of potentials, it was hard to find a pair that actually fit me because apparently I'm long crotched (don't be jealous). If I had known it would take me this long to find a good pair, I might have cracked and gone to dependable h&m... Oh well, they were worth the wait. Brand new, good quality linen for under $10... I want to take the bottoms in to make the silhouette of the pants more streamlined but I think I'll probably just talk about it instead and never do it. Less work, really...
And how much are we loving bare toes in late November? Last year we had a couple of snowfalls already by this time. Even though I have to put a bit more effort in to shave the three inches of leg exposed, it's totally worth it for this mild weather.

I love that blue shirt on you, and also your addiction to brown accessories.
The pants and belt look amazing, I've been after some pants like that also, but they also make me look like a hippo...
Wow, so chic. I'm dying for that necklace. I agree, these particular pants are great. I've tried several I kind of feel like I DO look like a 90s mom. You, on the other hand, look uber put together and modern. I love your hair with this; it's the epitome of class. A gorgeous look!
xx

ok so I am totally loving the simple kind of elegance of this look on you. laughed super hard when you said that the menswear was just a rebirth of the 90's mom pants. HA. you are too funny. well glad you held out to find the perfect pair because these ones look great on you. its so casual but fun with the great necklace and shoes. I'm glad you are loving the warm weather, I am wishing it was cold! we are still having 80 degree days. I am thoroughly protesting and wearing boots anyways! and on another note, your hair is super fun here. looks great!

I imagine my mom walking around in those pants before you....lol.
I love the last pic and what you do with your hair all the time.
I love this! I , too, have been on the hunt for the perfect pair of mom pants. Unfortunately, most of them make my stomach stick out as far as my ass. Really ... not a great look ...
I hear ya! I've been cursing the weather each morning as I shave my legs. "I didn't have to do this last year", I tell it, but it does not listen. In other news, those pants are AWESOME! I too have been on the hunt, and now I know that you snatched up the only awesome pair. Thanks, Yen.
So I have seen this trend and I love this trend, but I couldn't imagine doing the pleated pant. But now I see how you've done the pleated pant and I SO WANT THE PLEATED PANT! Such a great look on you - so flattering. And I love the mix of blues and browns. Gorgeous!
Cute! I also love your bracelet.
I can't help it. I'm TOTALLY jealous that you're long-crotched. ;)
And well done thrifting these. Talk about a trendy item that needn't be bought new! And the pair you found are utterly perfect.
I am totally diggin the menswear look on you! It's fab! :)
That color blue is fabulous on you. You look so pretty in these pictures.

You wear it all well!
I too refused to pay full price for these pants, and have found a few pairs that I think will work OK, but after seeing how perfect yours are I feel like I need to go back to the drawing board and realign my search. Those look just right on you! Congrats.
