Jacket? Vintage, Netty's Vintage (similar on etsy here) Jeans? Acne
Boots? Holt's Last Call (leather meow here or fauxDenim shirt? Vanilia (similar here
Clutch? Thrifted Watch? c/o BCBG Bracelets? My Oma's and a gift

At this point my over-the-knee boots, denim shirt and black jeans have pretty much become a blank canvas for crazy jackets. In this case, the crazy jacket is a super boxy, vintage marching band jacket with... shoulder tassels. Because shoulder tassels make everything better.
I got this jacket at Netty's Vintage, the vintage shop in Brantford I recently raved about. In an attempt of self control, I limited myself to buying one piece. I originally had a lace cardigan in my hand. It was adorable, versatile and super wearable, seriously there is a lot that can be done with a lace cardi... but then, I couldn't stop thinking of this jacket. When it comes down to the choice between versatile and crazy, my heart belongs to crazy. Especially in a vintage store. I'll save versatile choices for the mall. The food court specifically. Mrs.Vanelli's pizza goes with everything...

And just so you know, this is how much snow we got. Last week's foray into spring is a distant memory.

The tassels on the shoulders are killing me in such a good way! I feel that the urge to "March" would be overpowering while wearing your jacket. :o)

Based on the title of your post, I was pretty sure something was going on with that jacket...laughed out loud when I saw the tassel. Now, don't get the wrong idea. I'm not laughing at the jacket...It's fun, fun, fun...and I think fun is what you need given the weather and all. I have a pair of booties that are leather fringed, and I love the way the shake when I walk. If I had this jacket, I would be practically dancing just to get those tassels going.

Have a good one,

We actually got more snow than it appears because A. You are a skyscraper and B. You are wearing heels. Your measuring is innacurate, I'm so glad you are in a band and not a meteorologist. :p

I was in my college marching band, so this is kind of awesome/kind of awkward for me haha. I do love it with the chambray and black jeans - it definitely takes the costume out of it.

Hmmm... you in the snow still look taller than me. Linda's right, your measuring is no good. Now me in the snow -seriously nearly up to my knees!- would look much more impressive!
And even though you look cold, you look pretty awesome in that jacket!

WOW! That jacket is so crazy, fun, and definitely you. Being an ex-band member myself, I have to say that I love this and all the memories it brings back.:)
