Jeans? h&m, thrifted Sweater? Gap (can't find it online but I just bought it off the sale rack for $8!) Shoes? L.A.M.B., Winners (here or nude here) Purse? Tignanello, thrifted
The jeans in this outfit post did not bleach out as much as I anticipated but I do actually like the less glaring fade out. It's like I'm taking baby steps to crazy jeans; Trend Light so to speak. Maybe next time my (backyard) bleach shenanigans will be more successful.
I'm not a natural DIY kinda girl, I guess... I should have known this because in Grade 7 I cut up a feather boa and taped the fluffy pieces to the end of a pen, so I could have fuzzy pens just like Cher from Clueless. That didn't work out quite right either... A for effort, though.

This look is sleek and cute. Wow! I've been wanting to dye or bleach the jeans for a while. Maybe it's time.
I want to try the DIY version too! I like how yours turned out!

I actually love the not so bright/harsh look of your bleached DIY!!
You look fabulous!
One of my all time favorite outfits! jeans aren't friendly to me, but this is exactly how I'd wear them if we could ever get civil with each other! ~Serene
I think the lighter fade is more flattering, and I love the pairing with the sweater.
I have been eyeing those jeans too and thought, "huh, a DIY project maybe upcoming". Good to know what to expect.
One of my favorite looks on you so far! I love boyfriends and heels...and the more subtle bleaching effect too :)
Those. Shoes. Are. HOT!!
I like them better "trend light."
Plus, you'll be able to wear them much longer than extreme bleached, a trend which will surely pass through the halls of fashion quickly.
Unless you generally wear a mullet and rock def leopard - then bleached jeans will ALWAYS ALWAYS be in style.
I LOVE how both your sweater and jeans have the slight fade to them-so cool! And how fabulous are you shoes? So unique and beautiful!
haha, I love your pen story! And those shoes are sexxxyy!

I really like the sweater and jean combo! And the jeans look super cute! You should do a post on how to bleach your jeans! That would be fun!
One of my fave looks of all times, and these heels are sooo awesome!

I think your gradient looks good! Keep on bleaching!

i like your version better. looks more natural...as opposed to an OBVIOUS trend. and how the h-e-double hocky sticks do you walk in those things? i tripped and fell just looking at them.
Red is such a great color on you!
I'm loving the subtle ombre on that shirt!
I love how your jeans turned out! So much better than the fully bleached look (at least that's my opinion)
I'm loving the shoes as well as the jeans.

Such an awesome outfit! Love the orange top! And I much prefer your subtly bleached jeans to the full on white out :)

Yes I agree with the above ....you may be on to something! Love the light fade of the bleach...and that sweater is amazing! I just knew you were going to say it was thrifted..but now I need to head to my local GAP ASAP!
GREAT outfit! i love the double ombre and the color combo works out quite nice :)
Love the jeans!

LOVING the backdrop! And the reddish orange pop of color! :) Fun!
I like your pants more than the uber faded ones. Also... I forget, Ive had a few drinks.
I like the subtle fading! I've been considering a similar DIY project, but much like you, DIYs do not come naturally to me. I mean, I followed a tutorial to distress a pair of jeans and I felt like I was sanding and slashing for days. Not fun.
I love few things more than jeans with a pair of heels. That red action? Hot!
Great outfit!Love the lovely color!Looks adorable!
Fantastic look...made even better when I learned you'd done the jeans.
Just curious, did you ever do ballet? Your arches are to die for!
Great job with the jeans! I'm going to attempt something similar this weekend. The red sweater and shoes are a perfect way to show them off :)
barefootvintage- I try to avoid walking... they are tricky!
Jennifer- no ballet! Just heels?
Love your blog and your honesty. I had a dear friend whose mom had Alzheimer's and it is not a fun topic to discuss. I love to thrift and you inspire me. I also love to landscape. You look great after a day of work! I also love your DIY and the boa Cher pen completely made me giggle and smile and it has been a rough week. Thank you. It sounds like something I would have tried but the boa would have just ended up glued to my finger.
Yen, you're my kind of DIYer. Mine never seem to turn out like I planned, either... I love the two ombre items together. They look lovely - much nicer than the Zaras, in my humble opinion. ;)
loving these shoes!
