Skirt? Thrifted Shirt? Thrifted Shoes? Jeffrey Campbell via a giftcard I won Cuffs? Auction Purse? Thrifted

I am fighting the urge to ramble on uncontrolled about how much I love this outfit. I got the silk shirt for two dollars and the wool skirt for five dollars and I felt like a million dollars. That's the magic of mathematics at a thrift store.

And while mathematics is my strong point at the thrift store, it was my downfall at the auction I got these cuffs at. I forgot that you are bidding to set a price for each item, so I smugly thought I scored both of these cuffs for $20 but it turns out I had to pay $20 for each cuff. I kept my face free from disappointment though, didn't want the people to see my newbie status at the auction...

Have I told you how much I love this outfit? Oh, I have? My apologies.

  1. Ouch, that's like two giant bags of clothes at a thrift store. Sorry for the lame comparison, lately I've been addicted to comparing things to thrift store bags. Matt was like, let's grab fast food and I just said, " No way, that's two shirts/1/4 of a thrift store bag. I'd rather shop. I think my addiction is taking over. Help me.

$20/cuff is pretty steep, but they really are amazing. I'm sure you'll get a lot of use out of them.

  32. You look GORGEOUS! I love this. I also love the double walk the line photo! Your thrifting skills amaze me to no end. I don't know how to say this without sounding like a judgey jerk, but I love that you break the thrift stereotype when it comes to style... so many girls who are super into thrifting end up looking a bit like little house on the prairie guest stars (I'm sorry, this is so mean) but you show that vintage/thrift can look CURRENT and STYLISH and MODERN, and I love that about you.

  38. Purple and yellow is one of my favorite color combinations! Today I'm rocking it as well, with a yellow top and vintage purple beaded necklace (the beads look like little eggplants!). They're also going to be the colors of my wedding bouquet...if and when I get a date and place.

    You look stunning as always.
