Cargos? Mexx, thrifted
Lace shirt? Mantles, thrifted
Boots? Charles David, thrifted
Purse? thrifted
Bangle? thrifted
Belt? Michael Kors, Winners

This outfit was nearly 100% thrifted. People are so generous that they donated these leather boots, lacey top (granted it was ugly until I trimmed some excessive lacey business away from the neck) and the new cargos to thrift stores and then left them for me to find. In the 1+ year that I have been blogging, my closet has gone from being 21% thrifted to 83% (I did some spread sheets...) thrifted. The closet has since also been filled to 131% capacity...
The only thing that ruined my perfectly thrifted outfit was the belt. I could have gone without a belt but these pants give me a little muffin top so I wore a belt. T he belt sticks out further than the little extra baked goods on my hips and so camouflages it. I don't know if that trick is in any 'How to get Dressed' books... if it isn't, you may go ahead and use that information, as long as you always footnote it back to me. I prefer APA format...

Ummm...I'd rip those shoes away from you if I saw you. They are PERFECTION. In that field, with those pants -- you look editorial, my dear! Those boots...I'll be dreaming of them. Unfortunately the thrift shoes around here blow.

xx

This outfit rocks! I love that it's almost 100% thrifted! I do "levels of thrift" for my outfits on my blog; it's hard to get to 100% sometimes.

How in the world do you walk into a thrift store and find such amazing goods. I need a step by step guide detailed by yourself with photos so I don't get distracted by butterflies or passing cars. I also prefer APA format.

I've met so many people from the netherlands while in Scotland.. I'm beginning to think there are none left in Holland. You need to teach me some dutch too. We can start with how to say, 'where's the cheese?' and maybe 'hello'.

You're beautiful and funny! Matt is a lucky guy.

I follow your blog daily now (since I stumbled upon it a couple of months ago) and I've started going to thrift stores because of you. There are some really cool things to be found there! Thanks!

Perfect outfit. Loving lace too - jackets and dresses in my case.

If you're worried about the amount of things in your wardrobe, feel free to donate any (or all) of it to me.

Seriously?? This is absolutely fabulousness. I'm gonna second (third, fourth, 100th??) what everyone else said and a)sit in wonder and amazement at your thrifty magic and b)covet thy boots and c)agree that there is no muffin or other baked goods anywhere in sight on your frame.

Well done, well done!

God, I really have to come to your town and go thrift shopping! I am not so sure I would have such a great eye for it though, I adore those pants!

That top is beautiful. And I love how you paired it with the tough trousers!

those boots must have been the wrong fit for the purchaser, so amazing I don't know how they could be given away otherwise!

This outfit is divine! I love that from far away it looks slightly more rugged in color and then up close it's got all these unique and feminine details. WHO WOULD DONATE THOSE BOOTS?? You are the Queen of Thrifting, without a doubt.

You are kickin' this outfit's ASS! Thos boots! THOSE BOOTS! And those pants look incredible on you. I wanted to wear a pair of green cargos yesterday, but I felt like my thighs were going to hulk out of them. So...I passed.
