I vaguely remember the days when I wasn't addicted to social media. When I was so unfamiliar with the internet that I thought that the most popular girl at summer camp was conceited for having an email address with the word 'hotmail' in it. Like, was she calling herself hot?
It took me about 4 years to get an email address, 2 years to join Facebook, 1 year to join twitter and 6 months to join Instagram. This past weekend Vine (like Instagram but for short videos, follow me at myeditblog if you wish) came out and I broke down within 12 hours. I'm a little embarrassed actually. I'm the girl who didn't even have a cell phone until less than 3 years ago and now I'm spamming the world with cat videos.
It's OK though, I guess. Because what the world really needs is more videos of cats. I've heard there is a shortage.
Please ensure you also use Vine to post about your lunch. Another important topic often neglected in social media.

Haha! I just got an ihpone this year after having a regular ol flip phone since I wasn 17, so I fel ya. Now I'm never of that damned thing.

ReplyDeleteIt took me ages to get on board initially with fb and twitter, but as soon as instagram was available for android I was all over it. I'm admittedly now a bit of a social media addict for sure. Vine isn't on android yet though - bummer!

ReplyDeleteI feel ya. It wasn't five years ago when I had but a lowly MySpace account that I checked maybe weekly. Now I have six tabs of social media in my Firefox at all times. LOL I love your look today. The hat and trousers are great as are the boots. As always great photography and your wit and writing is such a breath of fresh air! Keep it up girly!
