I can only hope I've learned some style lessons since then. At the very least, I've discovered that all a sweet pink skirt needs is a little neon and a lot of necklaces... This skirt in particular also requires some twirling action because what's the fun of a full skirt, if you can't catch some air? And would you believe it, even without the matching purse, shoes and hair, I still felt pretty. freaking. cool.
I think you are pretty freaking cool- but it's those necklaces I am coveting.
ReplyDeleteYou're so pretty, and Merl captured the skirt perfectly!
ReplyDeleteIf you and Merl lived in the same town, it might explode from coolness. Or kittens.
i think you're pretty freaking cool. it's true.

I can attest to the pink fase. But wasn't it second year? When you did the evening wear...pink? Bought a fake leather purse...pink, had those barbie shoes....pink? Ya totally 2nd year. :)

I definitely went through a pink phase, particularly in high school, when everything I owned match...perfectly. I'm glad we both have graduated to more tasteful levels of pink. This look is particularly great. I LOVE the way the wind picks your skirt up in the second picture!
ReplyDeleteMaura- I wish I got a new camera... It's something I do hope to do soon but these pictures used Merl's talent and her camera... Painfully obvious how much better they are...
ReplyDeleteKatherine-Yup, these pictures were in Texas at the University:)
Anon- I can't find a link for the bag... nothing even really similar from Roots right now. I think the colour way was just a trial and it never even showed up online...:( sorry...
That skirt is gorgeous. Lovely shape and lovely colour. And you're so right, not twirling in a full-skirt is just weird.
ReplyDeleteSo cute and chic... I love it doll!
