I've been trying this new thing called Positive Thinking. I hate it.
I mostly enjoy the warmer months of the year, but I am trying to focus on the good things that come with cold weather. Like the fact that we can take quick outfit pictures at Whitehern without being interrupted by wedding parties and lovers having whimsical picnics. Whitehern is a historical house and walled garden in downtown Hamilton. It's like a secret garden in the middle of high-rise office buildings and understandably it is often used for professional photography. So, when it was chilly and rainy, we took advantage of the quiet and used it for some unprofessional photography. And while we are doing that thing called Positive Thinking, I am glad that Matt is no where near a professional photographer because when I googled Whitehern, I just saw that a photography permit is $165... Oops?

    Way to be positive! Also, at least the ground isn't snow-covered yet, and your dress is awesome? I think those are positive too? :D

    I use Christmas as my "Positive Thinking" in the winter, but once that ship has sailed, I grouch and grump around cursing the cold like a sailor. On a positive note, you look just splendid. I love the polka dots and leather.

    more positive thinking--at least they didn't find you? at least you are pattern mixing like a champ? at least the season for infrequent leg shaving comes along with the season of bitter cold?

    Ugh. I hear you on the weather though. We have no snow yet (it's snowed but it keeps melting - yessssss) but the weather network is forecasting it by the end of the week... and I have a funny feeling it will likely stick. Literally.

    I need to wear my polka skirt and dresses. Hm...Never thought of them with ankle boots. Me gusta!

    If you don't like cool weather, come to PR! It's only 60 degrees at its coldest, at night. We have 90 degree temps everyday through "winter" :P

    I love all of your great locations for photos. Maybe I need to relocate to Canada? Keep up the positive thinking... when I had a reallllly hideous job I made myself think of three positive things every day about my job just to get me through it. It actually works. It's like a miracle of sorts!
