Day 5-The End

Blogging on a Friday afternoon is like slamming a door out of anger in an empty house... no one is around to care. I don't usually post at this time, a nice glass of red wine holds a stronger pull than blogging on the weekends, but I just want to finish off my capsule challenge.
I quite like today's outfit, but then again the weather is so nice outside, I'm pretty sure I'd like tie-dye tights and a polyester, asymmetrically hemmed skirt in this sunshine. The plaid shirt has definitely been the star of the wardrobe challenge...long enough to be worn as an almost tunic, light enough to be tucked into anything, blue enough to be cheery and yet, neutral enough to work with lots of options. I'm going to go ahead an give my shirt a metaphorical high-five for being so awesome...
The wardrobe challenge was surprisingly fun. I ended up not using one of the belts I selected and the heels were perhaps not the most practical choice for a winter weekday, but overall I'm happy with the variety of looks. I feel like I could have gone on a couple days and tried more combinations. But I'm not going to go on... my other clothes are shedding tears because they miss me and my weekend plans call for extravagance. Yes ma'am, I'm pumped for my weekend! Blogging everyday was tiring...whine, whine...haha, now I must wine, wine to recover... Yeah, that was bad.
